POLYBILT SHUTTERS FEATURE...

TECHNICALLY SUPERIOR EXTRUDED MATERIAL
Polybilt is a solid core extruded vinyl. Each Polybilt component has the look and feel of real wood. There are no end caps on louvers, frames and tilt rods.

HARD SHELL DENT RESISTANT FINISH
Polybilt's celluka finish creates a hard shell outer finish. In its unpainted form Polybilt will not discolor or yellow from the sun's rays. In addition it carries a V-O fire rating, which is the best possible.

PAINTABLE FINISH
Polybilt can be painted any color you choose. Once painted you will not be able to tell the difference between Polybilt and expensive wood shutters.

MOISTURE PROOF
Polybilt is unaffected by moisture. It will not expand or contract, which causes warping, cracking and splitting in wood. In addition, Polybilt is termite proof.

TAPERED LOUVERS
Three tapered louver sizes are available: 2 1/2",3 1/2" and 4 1/2".

RABBETED PANELS AND MOLDED BACKSTOPS
Adjoining panels are rabbeted with molded lightstops just like expensive wood shutters.

MORTISED HINGES
Outside hinges are mortised into the panels, providing proper spacing between panel and frame.

LOUVER TENSIONING PINS
Nylon tensioning pins are used to insure a smooth perfectly tensioned louver operation.

PRE- ASSEMBLED FRAMED UNITS
All frames are pre-mitered and assembled (size permitting) with hinges attached to insure a trouble free installation.

SHORTER LEAD TIME
Because Polybilt is less labor intensive than wood to build, the lead time is about half as long as wood production.
